The Romans invented new architectural and urban typologies, new construction systems, materials and forms, which, developed linked to the different territories that they settled, gave rise to architecture and urbanism that we know today. Two research teams have worked together to help us understand how the city was formed and how important it is to find the most important fish.
We will see how they built their Roman walls, the building systems that they invented for facelas so strong that they still last; to civil architecture; The design of the city and its most significant elements and what other causes remain to be kept as low as possible. Let’s base ourselves on visible examples such as the Roman town of Liédena, «Vila das Musas», the Roman remains of Andelos or the fragments that are preserved from the Roman wall of Olite, among others.
We will raise our own monuments, mosaics, enxeños and create our own Empire.
