The Bardenas Reales de Navarra or simply Bardenas, constitute a semi-desert area whose clay, gypsum and sandstone soils have been eroded by water and wind, creating surprising shapes, among which the ravines, plateaus with a tabular structure and the lonely hills, called Cabezos. They extend through the southeast of the community of Navarra and have the figures of a natural reserve and a biosphere reserve and constitute a unique territory, in terms of its geological composition as well as its ownership and administration.
These unique forms will serve as support and reference to create our «Living Architectures», an activity that complements and draws on the possibilities offered by the school offer. Involve the school community in the recovery and defense of nature through programs that are developed in the centers through proposals for the creation of shelters or nature classrooms.
Geometric shapes are proposed as the protagonists of the project, we will simplify the forms that nature offers us and we will accommodate them to our own means of self-construction, thus creating our own structures and new uses for them.
