This new version of LUPO is the first in a series dedicated to digital manufacturing and licensed creative commons. It is realized in collaboration with the Laboratory of Digital Fabrication of the School of Architecture of IE University.
In this case acoustic insulation foam and a laser cutter are used as a manufacturing tool.
FABRICATION INSTRUCTIONS

Material:
Polyurethane sound insulation foam 40 mm thick and 80 kg/m3 density.
Settings of the laser cutter:
Tubo Laser 50W
100% power
2% speed
1000ppp
Finish:
Spray paint can be used to give it a more fun finish.

White methacrylate
Settings of the laser cutter:
Tubo Laser 50W
100% power
6% speed
1000ppp
Note:
Leave the protective plastic to avoid burning the material. Once the pieces have been cut, the plastic is removed.
