Abstract:
Faced with the evidence obtained from certain studies that reflected the obstacles that students have in learning historical knowledge derived from traditional practices and models, an attempt was made to highlight the existence of better learning possibilities through the following objectives: 1) providing an overview of the causes of this phenomenon and possible attempts to advance these aspects obtained from the scientific literature. 2) Expanding the knowledge of one of these proposals of progress that is the main reason of the research in this work: the use of construction games in general, taking as a concrete example the LUPO system of constructions. By last; 3) doing a fieldwork that consisted of qualitatively interpreting the information obtained through the use of semi-structured interviews of an intentional sample of 4 informants, who use the LUPO system in two different contexts. The result was that these professionals value as pertinent and positive this type of resource to improve the panorama of the learning of history, deriving this belief from their experience of the use of this methodology with the students. Also, this work revealed that despite the potential of the LUPO system there were hardly any publications about it from the field of pedagogy or didactics despite the potential of the resource, the positive impact on teaching and learning history reflected by professionals, And to constitute the materialization of the wishes and needs of many innovative researchers and teachers who see an alternative to the classic educational model in terms
